SUMMARY:The Road Ahead: Innovations and Challenges in E-Mobility in Germany and the UK
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, 2 July 2025\, from 6pm to 7pm BST (19.00 to 20.00 CEST) for an online discussion on Zoom on the evolving landscape of e-mobility organised jointly by the Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft and the British-German Association. Three experts from industry and policy will explore the technological\, environmental\, and societal impacts of electric transport. The event will address key issues such as infrastructure development\, sustainability\, innovation in battery technology\, and the role of public policy in accelerating the transition to cleaner mobility solutions. This event offers valuable insights into one of the most dynamic areas of modern mobility. \nOur expert speakers are Dr. Ruprecht Brandis\, Konstanze Scharring\, and Anna Krajinksa. \nRuprecht Brandis is Managing Director of the Clean Energy Forum. He previously worked for bp for 20 years\, including almost 12 years as Director External Affairs Germany and Head of bp’s Berlin capital office. \nKonstanze Scharring is Executive Director\, Government and External Affairs at The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. \nAnna Krajinska is Director of Transport & Environment (T&E) UK\, Europe’s leading NGO for clean transport and energy. She is an expert in road transport decarbonisation\, electrification\, and air pollution\, having worked on EU policy in these areas for the past five years.
