DESCRIPTION:BGA members have been invited to attend a conference (in person and on Zoom) on 13 and 14 January hosted by the London School of Economics (LSE) together with the Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin). Under the title “Beyond the Barbed Wire”\, the conference will examine the history of internees and prisoners of war in two World Wars and in global contexts\, with particular emphasis on the social and intellectual history of knowledge production related to internment.
