SUMMARY:2023 LSE German Symposium
DESCRIPTION:As in previous years\, BGA members are warmly invited to attend the LSE’s prestigious German Symposium from 13-17 February. Initiated in 1998 by German LSE students\, the German Symposium has become an important date in the LSE’s calendar and will be hosted for the 22nd time in 2023 under the motto “Thriving Together”. Featuring a wide variety of events ranging from keynote speeches and discussion panels to intimate coffee chats with world-class speakers\, the LSE offers time and space for rigorous political debate. Tickets will be released soon.

DESCRIPTION:Niall Sellar is the translator of German author Volker Kutscher’s Inspector Gereon Rath books\, the basis of the TV series Babylon Berlin. Niall has taught German\, English and French in different educational settings\, but his real passion is translation. \nBGA members are invited to join this event organised by the Guildford Twinning Association at the Guildford Borough Council on Monday\, 20 February.
