On Thursday 14 March from 6.30pm to 7.30pm GMT on Zoom, Dr Olivia Cheung  and Alexander Roth will be discussing the UK’s and Germany’s role in a China-centric world order and possible policy implications to the two countries.

Dr Olivia Cheung (DPhil, Oxon) is Research Fellow of the China Institute at SOAS University of London. She is the author of Factional-ideological Conflicts in Chinese Politics: To the Left or to the Right? (Amsterdam University Press, 2023) and co-author of The Political Thought of Xi Jinping (Oxford University Press, 2024).

Alexander Roth is the Head of the China Desk at the German Foreign Office.
