By joining the BGA, you will be part of a dynamic network of over 500 people involved or interested in the British-German relationship. You will not only be signaling your support for our values of promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the UK and Germany, but actively supporting our work through your membership fee.
Membership subscriptions are valid for 12 months from the date of joining and renew automatically unless cancelled. If you work within the M25, regional membership is not available to you. You do not need to be in employment to join the BGA.

Members of the BGA Patrons’ Circle provide essential support to the BGA’s charitable mission. Membership of the Patrons’ Circle is valid for 12 months from the date of joining and renew automatically unless cancelled.
Cost of Patrons’ Circle membership £1,000 per year.* (£200 benefits plus £800 suggested donation) Benefits All benefits of standard BGA membership, including our monthly newsletter and discounts on some events open to non-members. Priority booking ahead of ordinary members for BGA in-person events. At least one event per year just for Patrons’ Circle members and other key BGA supporters. *Please note for Gift Aid purposes, we are required to indicate the commercial value of the benefits we may offer to Patrons’ Circle members (£200). Any voluntary donation above the agreed values of benefits will be eligible for Gift Aid; it is possible to purchase a Patrons’ Circle membership without making a donation. The BGA is now playing a greater role in British-German relations than ever before. We receive no regular funding from any Government, and our income from individual membership fees covers less than a fifth of our running costs. So we are reliant on donors to continue and expand our work. Your support is hugely appreciated.
