Electronic Music in Germany and the UK
On Wednesday, 15 January 2025, we are delighted to welcome musician Thomas Burhorn from MEUTE for an online discussion on electronic music in Germany and the UK ahead of their tour with concerts in London and Manchester. The event will be held on Zoom from 6.30pm to 7.30pm GMT.
MEUTE is a Techno Marching Band – eleven drummers and horn players from Hamburg / Germany. The conglomerate of brass and drums creates a new genre by combining hypnotic driving techno and expressive brass band music. Ahead of their tour (with dates in Manchester and London), Thomas has agreed to join us for an evening, and will be in discussion with Marcello Ruggiu, a British-Italian music producer and sound engineer.
The event will be moderated by Dr Henry Ivry.
