On Thursday 13 February 2025 from 2pm to 3pm, Susan Reed, the Lead Curator of the Germanic Collections at the British Library in London, will do a show and tell session for BGA members on literature in the British Library featuring themes of Anglo-German relations and Germans in the UK followed by a Q&A.  If attendees are interested, we can have coffee after the event in one of the restaurants at the Library.

Susan is currently Head of Germanic Collections at the British Library, and has worked with the Library’s German collections in various capacities for over 30 years. Her research interests include printed ephemera from the 1848 revolutions in Berlin and Vienna, and the history of German-language publishing and printing in nineteenth-century Britain. She has also co-curated major British Library exhibitions on the early twentieth-century European Avant-Garde, the Russian Revolution, and Fantasy, as well as smaller displays on Schiller, Luther, and Stefan Zweig.

This event is now fully booked. Please email us at [email protected] if you have any questions or would like to have a place on our waiting list.
