On Friday 5 May, BGA members are invited to join a guided tour of the MINI Plant in Oxford. Plant Oxford is the heart of MINI. It is where all the parts are assembled and come together to make road-ready MINI models. It is the largest and oldest of the three MINI plants across the UK, including Plant Swindon where the body panels and some assemblies are made, and Plant Hams Hall which produces petrol engines.

We very much look forward to this unique insight into the iFactory and are hugely grateful to BMW for their support and for kindly arranging our visit.

The tour will take place between 2.15-6pm BST. Guests are asked to arrive at 2.15pm. Please see the agenda below:

2.15pm: Arrival at the MINI Visitor Centre Oxford.

2.30pm: Welcome by Dr Markus Grüneisl, Chief Executive, BMW Group UK.

3pm: Start of first tour.

5pm: Drinks and nibbles.

6pm: End of event.

Tickets: £10 for BGA members, £20 for members’ guests.

No photography on the production line and no open toe shoes.
