White Asparagus Supper
On Thursday 30 May 2024, BGA members are invited to the National Liberal Club’s White Asparagus Supper. The evening will commence with one hour of Stammtisch from 6 to 7pm in the Smoking Room to which guests are also most welcome. At 7pm attendees will toast May with a refreshing glass of Maibowle, followed by a traditional menu of Cream of White Asparagus Soup, White Asparagus, new potatoes, Schnitzel followed by a delicious German dessert, accompanied by half a bottle of wine per person. English will be spoken throughout the dinner and there will be a short musical interlude.
Price per person: £85.00. This includes:
– glass of Maibowle at pre dinner reception
– three course dinner
– 1/2 bottle of wine per person
– Short recital of German Lieder
